Consignment Sales:
We will help you maximize the money received from the sale of your firearms by selling them on your behalf using our FFL and flawless A+ GunBroker rating more than a thousand guns sold. You can either drop off the guns at our shop, ship them to us or we can make arrangements (for larger collections) to come to you and pick up your guns. Please call us at (570) 460-3560 to make arrangements.
We charge 20% of the auction selling price up to $1,000 and 17% for any portion over $1,000. There is a $60 minimum per gun for items which sell for $300 or less. We pay for the auction costs, final value fees, special placement fees, shipping materials/packaging, shipping insurance and advertising fees from our commission. We bear the risk of loss or damage on all shipped firearms.
To illustrate: If we sell your firearm for $2,000, the consignment fee is $370 ($200 for the first $1,000 and $170 for the second $1,000) and you receive $1,630. If we sell your firearm for $300, the fee is a flat $60 and you receive $240.
From the time your guns arrive at our shop, they are securely stored and fully insured. We handle photographing your guns, preparing the listings, answering potential buyers' questions, collecting payment and packing and shipping the firearms once sold. Our service is the easiest way to maximize the money received for your guns.
It usually takes four to five weeks from the time we receive your guns until payment is made to you. This allows two weeks for the auction, time to receive payment from the buyer and time for shipment of the gun to the buyer. Please note that, depending on our consignment backlog, it may take longer. In addition to the check paid for the net proceeds from the auction, a detailed accounting of each item auctioned with auction number will be provided for your records.
We run "penny auctions" that start at 1 cent with no reserve as bidding is far stronger than other types of auctions and the end result is generally much better. See the link below for current "penny auctions" and observe the bidding activity and pricing.
